Privacy Policy

In short
- You don't need an account. The game has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- The game doesn't send your information to us, and we don't run game servers.
- Other players can see your player name in multiplayer.
- Apple handles payments and Game Center.
Who we are
Brawl Arena is made by Steeven Bolicar Quijije Lacerna ("we"), the seller of the game on the App Store. For any privacy question, email info@unlockthemove.com.
What the game stores on your device
- Your sound, music and vibration settings.
- The player name you type for nearby play, up to 20 characters.
- The fighter you last chose in multiplayer.
- A random player ID that the game creates to tell players apart in a room. It doesn't contain your name or Apple Account.
- A note that you own the unlock, so it shows right away when the game opens.
This information stays on your device, except for what multiplayer needs (see below). Deleting the game removes it. It may also be in your device backups, which you control.
Multiplayer
Nearby play
Nearby play uses Apple's local networking to connect devices directly, with encryption. Your device shares your player name, random player ID, chosen fighter, ready status and match activity with the other devices in the room. If you open a room, nearby players looking for a game can also see your player name.
Please use a nickname, not your real name. You can turn off local network access for the game in your device's Settings.
Online play
Online play uses Apple Game Center. If you are already signed in, the game connects to Game Center when it opens so that invites can reach you. In a match, your Game Center name and player ID are used to connect you, and other players can see your name. The match information listed above is also shared with them through Apple's service.
We don't receive or store any of this. Apple handles Game Center under the Apple Privacy Policy, and you can sign out of Game Center in your device's Settings.
Purchases
Apple handles every payment. We never see your card details. The game only asks Apple whether your Apple Account owns the unlock.
What Apple shares with us
Apple gives developers overall sales and download figures. It also shares usage statistics and crash reports from people who chose to share them with developers. These reports don't normally identify you.
If you join a TestFlight beta, Apple also shares information with us such as your name, email address, usage and crash information, and any feedback you send.
Ads, analytics and tracking
The game has none of these and no third-party code that does them. It doesn't use your camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos. We don't sell personal data.
Support emails
If you email us, we use your address and message to reply, because you asked us to help. We keep them only as long as we need to handle your request, then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Our email provider stores and delivers these messages, which may happen outside your country.
We don't send marketing emails, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.
Cookies
This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking, and it has no forms, so there is no cookie banner to accept. The game doesn't use cookies either.
The company that hosts this website may keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
Children
The game doesn't ask for your age, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has emailed us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.
Parents can use Ask to Buy to approve purchases, and Screen Time to limit Game Center features. We suggest children use a nickname as their player name.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, such as the EU, the UK or some US states, you may have the right to see, correct or delete your personal information, to object to how it is used, or to complain to your data protection authority.
The only personal information we hold is in support emails, so email us to use these rights. For Game Center or purchases, please contact Apple. To remove what the game stores on your device, delete the game.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
